In order to allow the inmates to develop proper leisure activities, establish good regular exercise habits, and strengthen their physique, as well as to integrate the educational value into the competition, a three-point shooting contest for inmates was held on March 20,2021, with 16 groups of 29 participants representing various units.

People can have an amazing performance when under time pressure, as seen in our "three-point shooting contest".18 three-pointers are thrown from the sideline in 60 seconds, which is a test of shooting accuracy and rhythm, and the average is about once every 3 seconds. Lack of daily practice, the three different pitching positions, and the pressure from the spectators on the sideline all add to the difficulty of the competition, but also encourages people to challenge themselves.

The participants who participated in the tournament often competed on the field during the weekend and are enthusiastic about basketball games. As the whistle blew, their adrenaline were starting pumping to throw each ball flying over the skyline and finally shoot perfectly in the basket.

After a high intensity and focused competition, each participant gave their best performance; the last year champion kept his level of performance and won the championship. After a fierce battle, there were two groups of six participants who had to fight for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th place. The purpose of this event is to let each participant “have fun” and feel the thrill and glory of challenging themselves.
