「Creative Poster Design Competition」
To promote the artistic talents of the inmates and enhance their potential in cultural and artistic creation, as well as to increase awareness of anti-fraud and anti-corruption, we have collaborated with the Office of Government Ethics to hold a "Creative Poster Design Competition." Through the use of language and imaginative poster designs, we aim to inspire inmates' attention to the themes of anti-fraud and anti-corruption, strengthening their understanding of the rule of law and self-protection, thereby achieving the goal of education through enjoyment.
Inmates participated enthusiastically in this event, creating not only paintings but also posters on the themes of anti-fraud and anti-corruption, expressing their creativity. This competition encourages inmates to engage in artistic creation, helping them to build awareness and understand the harm of such issues, with the aim of preventing crime and reducing victimization. One inmate, Ah Cheng (a pseudonym), who won first place, expressed his gratitude, dedicating his award as an eighth birthday gift for his son. He shared that winning this honor has given him the courage to face the future after his release, and he appreciates the nourishment and support provided by the facility, which has given him confidence and hope.
The event concluded with our facility's secretary and department heads serving as judges. The assessment criteria were based on adherence to the theme, overall artistic technique, and creativity, including originality and unique design concepts. First, second, and third place winners were selected, and rewards, including prizes and point incentives, were given accordingly. Through this event, participants gained a deeper understanding of anti-fraud and anti-corruption values.
