A Three-Point Shooting Competition
To encourage inmates to engage in positive leisure activities, establish good exercise habits, and build physical strength while embedding moral teachings within competition, our facility held a three-point shooting contest for inmates on November 14, 2024. A total of 28 individuals represented various units in this event.
Under time pressure, participants showcased remarkable performances in this specially designed "Three-Point Shooting Contest." Each participant had 60 seconds to shoot 18 shots from the three-point line, challenging their shooting accuracy and rhythm. The addition of three different shooting positions increased the difficulty and was an appealing aspect of the contest, inspiring participants to test their own limits.
Most of the participants are passionate about basketball, often playing on the courts during their free time. As the whistle sounded and the game began, the ticking clock spurred a rush of adrenaline, pushing every ball to soar across the court and, ideally, land perfectly through the hoop. In this high-intensity and focused competition, each participant gave their all, fully immersed in the game. This experience allowed them to enjoy the thrill of self-challenge and a sense of pride, which is one of the main objectives behind organizing this event.
