To enhance inmates' understanding of addictive behaviors, prevention, and addiction treatment strategies, strengthen family functioning and interpersonal support systems, and improve communication and understanding between parents and children, and couples, this prison will host a 40-session lecture series, "Protecting You, Me, and Others - Addiction Prevention and Family Relationship Promotion," from September to November 2015. Inviting domestic experts and scholars to deliver lectures, the series will promote self-awareness and emotional management through hands-on activities, enhancing mental health and stress management.
The course content covers parent-child communication, fraud prevention, gender equality, emotional management, and elderly care. Through systematic instruction and case sharing, inmates will be able to strengthen family functioning, interpersonal support systems, and self-emotional management, laying the foundation for a smooth transition into society and a life of independence.
